Assignment: Report Writing
Assignment: Report Writing
Write a 10 page report (A4 size paper) with 1.5 line spacing on the topic below according to your matrik number. You can adopt any standard format to write the report. However, the report should be genuine and not plagiarised. If found plagiarised, you will be given zero marks for the report. All the reports will be scanned by a plagiarism checker. The deadline to submit this report is 25-6-2012, so please bring the report on the exam day. All the reports should be supported with necessary diagrams and pictures wherever required. References must be placed at the end of the report.
How to find the report topic?
The report topic is based on the last two digits of your matrik number. Let’s say that your matrik is B11KA0041, take the last two digits of the number. The last two digits are 4 and 1. Add the last two digits. The sum is (4+1) = 5. See the list below on number 5, the topic is Wind Turbines. If the sum is a two digit number again then perform the sum till you get a single number. For example matrik number AA100086, the last two digits are 8 and 6. The sum of 8 and 6 is 14. Now again you have two digits 1 and 4. Therefore, add 1 and 4 again. The result is number 5. So look down at the list, the topic is Wind turbines.
Matrik Number: AA100006
Last two digits: 06
Sum: 0+6 = 6
Topic: Hydro Turbines
Matrik Number: AA100090
Last two digits: 90
Sum: 9+0 = 9
Topic: Circuit Breakers
Matrik Number: AA100094
Last two digits: 94
Sum: 9+4 = 13
Sum 1+3 = 4
Topic: Generators
